Retail Therapy
Highland, CA, 2010
We were contacted to help update and improve an existing shopping center. The original building had fallen into disrepair and required many technical improvements and an overall facelift.
Our solution was to repair the damage and create a new palate of materials that would perform well over time, as well as help the center establish a new modern retail experience. The existing wood siding was replaced with a combination of vertical and horizontal corrugated metal panels, plaster and cement siding. These cost-effective and low-maintenance materials will help the owners establish a modern aesthetic. The new materials integral color help will help reduce the maintenance costs while providing a vandal-resistant and neutral background for updated signage.
New landscape planters, glass storefront systems and exterior lighting were specified to integrate the building into the surrounding environment and new ADA ramps and signage were designed to meet the latest code requirements.
