Coachella: Lunch is Served …

The Coachella Uniified District’s Westside Elementary School Project is almost complete. We’re hoping to feed about 300 hungry elementary kids in the new space just after Thanksgiving, well … we’ll not be actually feeding them, but we did help create the new digs. Bring on the square pizza!

Emerging Technologies Demonstration Showcase

We’re woriing with Ecotype Consulting and Southern California Edison on the first Net Zero Home in San Bernardino County. This Emergening Technoligies project will help the public understand ways to build or remodel their homes to be more energy efficient. Construction is underway and we hope to be Net Zero in the new year.

The Panorama Home

The Panorama Home is coming along nicely. The primary exteriors are complete and the solar panels have been installed. This is a very unique and energy efficient home and we’re very pleased with the progress. We’ll have some photo’s here on the site when it’s all wrapped up at years end.

San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District Building

The new building for the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District has been approved by the City. We’ll be working on some refinements and hope to have it underway by December. Our site is surrounded by citrus groves and the design is reminiscent of the historic citrus packing houses built in California throughout the last century. Unfortunately, few of those remain, and we hope this building provides a visual bridge to the past. We’ll have some renderings up soon.

The Greater Good Coffee shop was the backdrop for an independant movie production in December. The film is centered around the young woman on the verge of a breakdown, and the majority of that breakdown was filmed in the our space! We wll assume the space had little to do with her condition …

We’re quite proud they selected our space and we’ll post the name of the film as soon as the producer has one.

Branching Out

We were selected by the Sweetwater Union High School District as the architects for the new MAAC Center Project. The project is located in Chula Vista, just south of San Diego. Check out the website in March for new project renderings.

We will be the architects for a new building for the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District. The design is underway and construction should begin in July.
